Everyone is at a different stage of learning. We have new ringers and people who have been ringers for many years, but we are all still learning, you can never know it all. That is part of the attraction of church bell ringing as a hobby.
To get an idea of some of the other things we do, some related to ringing, some not, look at the Latest News section of our News and Links Page.
Ringing also provides us with a social activitiy both in and out of the tower and travelling to ring at other towers adds extra interest to the art. Ringers often have a copy of a book called Dove's Guide for Church Bell Ringers. It lists all the towers that have bells hung for change ringing and ringers usually tick the entry for each tower as they visit them.
